The symbol of an eye in the center of an open palm, has had many names throughout the ages, including the Hamsa, the Eye and Hand of Fatima, and the Hand of Miriam.
The form also has a second thumb replacing the little pinky.
As a magical form it remains a mystery, and although scholars debate its origin, they recognize the Hamsa as an amulet.
The Hamsa key ring is versatile, attached on a removable lobster claw. The length is 1-1/2" by 1" wide, beautifully finished in antique silver tone, with a crystal in the center of the eye, and evil eye beads. Gift packaged in a velour drawstring pouch, with story card.
